Born in the Irish capital of Dublin, Willis is a former student of the illustrious Blackrock College. The nippy scrumhalf then attended University College Dublin and began his professional career at Irish side Leinster before stints with both Ulster and Connacht. In 2011 Willis left Ireland and signed for Sale Sharks in the English Premiership. Willis is a cousin to Irish rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll.
