Pearce played rugby league for Hull FC and York City Knights, before crossing codes to play for Rotherham.
He joined the Leicester Tigers in 2014, and has played 26 games for the club, scoring eight tries. Sale Sharks announced his signing February 2016 and he will join the side for the 2016/2017 season.
In October 2017, Pearce left Sale Sharks to join Stade Montois in the French D2 for the rest of the 2017-18 season.
