Jack Tafa Lam, born on November 18, 1987, is a rugby player who was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. He plays as a flanker for Moana Pasifika and represents Samoa at the international level.

Lam began his domestic career playing for Tasman in the 2008 Air New Zealand Cup, where he made seven appearances as a number seven. He then moved to Waikato in 2009 and joined the Chiefs Wider Training Squad. He made his debut for Waikato as a number seven against Southland.

Continuing his career with Waikato, Lam played in the 2010 ITM Cup predominantly as an openside flanker. In 2011, he signed with the Hurricanes, representing Wellington in Super Rugby.

Lam started as an openside flanker in every match during his rookie year in Super Rugby. He also returned to play a full season with Waikato in the 2011 ITM Cup.

In 2014, Lam made the move to Europe and joined the Bristol team in the Greene King IPA Championship. He signed a new contract in December 2015, extending his stay with Bristol until 2018.

Lam served as the captain of Bristol Rugby for the 2016/17 season, taking over from fellow Samoan international David Lemi. He made 69 appearances for Bristol, scoring 120 points.

In June 2019, Lam was named in the Samoa Squad for the Pacific Nations Cup, representing his ancestral nation at the international level.
