Exiles sign Stephen Myler

London Irish have confirmed the signing of experienced fly-half Stephen Myler from Northampton Saints ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Myler, third on the Premiership’s all-time list of scorers with 1,697 points, has played more than 300 times for Saints including a man-of-the-match display in the dramatic 2014 Premiership final triumph over Saracens. Full story

Scotland to become the first Tier 1 nation to face Georgia at home ahead of RWC 2019


Scotland's road to the Rugby World Cup 2019 has been confirmed with home and away fixtures against France and Georgia next year.

Scotland played Six Nations rivals France in Paris in preparation for RWC 2015 and have faced Georgia on two previous occasions – at RWC 2011 and in Kilmarnock as part of the 2016 Autumn Tests – and will be the first Tier 1 nation to face the Lelos on home soil. Full story


Paul Jedrasiak suffers season ending knee injury

Clermont and French international second-row Paul Jedrasiak has suffered a season-ending knee injury that will require surgery next week ruling him out of action for up to six months.

The Clermont veteran was a second-half replacement for Arthur Iturria in Saturday's final Top 14 fixture against Toulouse, he played 40 minutes making seven tackles on the night before injury struck. Full story

Dragons sign Samoan lock Brandon Nansen

Dragons have confirmed the signing of Samoan international lock Brandon Nansen on a two-year deal.

Nansen, 24, joins following a stint in the Top 14 with Stade Francais Paris, after beginning his senior career with New Zealand province North Harbour. Full story

IRFU confirm coaches contract extensions

Ireland forwards coach Simon Easterby, defence coach Andy Farrell, scrum coach Greg Feek and skills coach Richie Murphy have inked new deals with the IRFU.

Malcolm Marx ruled out for 6 weeks with injury

Lions have confirmed that hooker Malcolm Marx has a high grade hamstring tendon tear.
