Theo McFarland, born on October 16, 1995, is a Samoan rugby union player who currently plays for Saracens in Premiership Rugby. He can play as a lock or flanker.

McFarland joined Saracens in August 2021 after playing rugby in Samoa and training with the Samoa Sevens team. He was initially signed to the Major League Rugby expansion side Dallas Jackals for the 2021 season, but the team's entry to the league was delayed.

McFarland made his debut for the Samoan national team in July 2021, playing two non-cap internationals against the Māori All Blacks. He earned his first official cap against Tonga in the 2023 Rugby World Cup qualifiers.

Growing up in Moamoa, McFarland excelled in basketball and only started playing rugby while attending Pesega Church College. He later played club rugby for the Moamoa Rugby Club in Samoa before moving to Victoria, Australia to compete in the Dewar Shield rugby union competition from 2016 to 2018.

In 2018, McFarland returned to Samoa and played for the Savai'i Vikings in the Super 9 competition in 2018 and 2019. He also represented Samoa in multiple international tournaments between 2018 and 2020. Notably, he played in the FIBA Polynesian Cup final in 2018 and was a key player in Samoa's national team at the XVI 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, playing at the centre position.

McFarland also had a stint with Manuma Samoa in the Global Rapid Rugby international rugby union competition. In August 2021, he signed a long-term deal with Saracens. As of August 2021, he has two caps for Samoa, both earned in matches against Tonga.

Ahead of the World Rugby Cup 2023, McFarland has been named in the squad for Samoa.
