Statement win for Munster over their arch rivals Leinster at Croke Park. The visitors managed to get control early and slowly built the pressure forcing the hosts to make errors. Leinster were by far the more active side with ball in hand as they dominated possession and attack but the Munster defence, spearheaded by Wycherley, O'Donoghue and Coombes with notable performances from Beirne, Kelly, Nankivell and Kleyn. All the headlines were focussed on one player and that was Jack Crowley who not only bagged Man of the Match and not only continued his great season form but also outplayed Sam Prendergast on the day as both players try to impress Ireland Head Coach ahead of the November tests.
