Holland made 11 appearances for Munster after making his debut against Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park in November 2013.
The Munster Rugby academy graduate was a product of Cork club rugby, progressing through the age-grade ranks before moving on to UCC, and finally Cork Constitution.
A hamstring injury while playing for Munster 'A' in the British and Irish Cup lead to him being advised to retire on medical grounds.
