20 Year Old Brian O'Driscoll's Ireland Debut

Brian O’Driscoll’s international debut saw him take to the field in Brisbane on 12 June 1999 to take on a strong Australian side. The 20 year old displayed ability beyond his years and was an immediate livewire in the Irish backline – hunting gaps with precision and putting teammates into space. Although Ireland lost the match 46-10, O’Driscoll’s performance drew plenty of excitement.
