Ireland player ratings vs England

Ireland dismantled England at home in round three of the 2026 Six Nations, winning 21-42. Lets take a look at how the Irish players faired.

The prop was excellent in the lose but struggled in the scrums.

Sheehan was excellent in the lineouts and made meters down the touchline. Scored a try

3. Tadhg Furlong 7

Same as Loughman. Struggled in the scrums but good support play.

4. Joe McCarthy 8

Physical as always. McCarthy got through a ton of work.

5. James Ryan 9

The second rower was a work horse for the visitors.

6. Tadhg Beirne 10

Beirne was back to his best stealing breakdowns and making massive tackles.

7. Josh van der Flier 8

World Rugby player of the year did not have a standout match but got through a ton of work.

8. Caelan Doris 10

Captain fantastic. Doris was strong on attack and managed the game very well.

9. Jamison Gibson-Park 11

Yes that is a 11. Man of the match Gibson-Park scored the opening try and was back to his best with great box kicks and on point decision making.

10. Jack Crowley 7

Crowley missed 3 kicks off the tee but found touch and got his forwards into the match.

12. Stuart McCloskey 10

The Irish bulldozer made 10km's on attack. Not really 10km's but the England defenders would feel like it was that much! Threw another NFL offload like last week.

13. Garry Ringrose 8

The outside centre was excellent on defence and linked up will with run arounds with Crowley

14. Robert Baloucoune 8

The winger made meters every time he got the ball and made sure about his defence. Scored a try

15. Jamie Osborne 9

The fullback brought pace on the ball and cleared his lines. Scored a try

The prop was excellent in the scrums and made good carries.

Same as O'Toole.
