Sela is experienced despite his age; being one of few players to have toured South Africa
twice as an U18 player and has a U18 6N campaign under his belt (scored two tries vs. South
Africa in 2022 with bustling runs). Sela was 18-years-old during his five appearances in the
2024 Under-20 Six Nations and earned three more in 2025. He also toured South Africa and
helped lift the 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship trophy.
He is studying Sports Performance at Bath University and has numerous BUCS Super Rugby
appearances for the university to date. He joined Royal Wootton Bassett RFC aged 12 and
gifted the club his first England shirt, being inspired by the likes of Sonny Bill Williams,
Jerry Tuwai and Ellis Genge to pick up the oval ball.
The prop came through Bath's junior production line at Beechen Cliff being coached by
Nathan Catt, with the duo resuming their partnership when Catt joined the RFU as pathway
scrum coach.
