Ignacio Ruiz is an Argentine rugby union player who currently serves as a Hooker for London Irish in the Premiership. He has made notable contributions to both club and country.

Ruiz embarked on his rugby journey with Regatas de Bella Vista, a renowned team in the Argentine URBA Top 13 league. In 2020, he made a move to Jaguares XV, a team competing in the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby.

In 2022, Ruiz took another significant step in his career by joining London Irish, an English Premiership side. His arrival at London Irish marked the presence of five Argentine internationals within the team, demonstrating his talent and appeal on the global rugby stage.

Ruiz's involvement has played a part in Argentina's impressive performances, contributing as a substitute in victories over Scotland in July 2022. Notably, he also played a crucial role in Argentina's first win over England in 13 years during the Autumn Nations Series.
