Highlights: Ireland v Russia - Rugby World Cup 2019

Ireland bounced back from their shock upset loss to Japan to beat Russia 35-0 in the Rugby World Cup. Ireland ran in three first half tries to take a 21-0 lead into the halftime break. Russia would start the second forty with 14 players after picking up a yellow card towards the back end of the opening half. Russia picked up a second yellow card ten minutes into the second half, but continued to frustrate Ireland. Russia missed a long range penalty to get on the board as the halftime score remained unchanged heading into the final quarter. Ireland would finish with two tries inside the final 20 minutes to seal the much needed bonus point victory as they remain in the hunt to top pool A in a tightly contested group.
