Two quarter-finals confirmed at Women's RWC 2025 with more drama guaranteed on Sunday

At the end of four pulsating matches on Saturday, 6 September, two of next weekend's quarter-finals are confirmed, with the other two to be decided by Sunday's results.

Canada will play Australia on Saturday, 13 September, and tournament hosts England will take on Scotland on Sunday, 14 September. 

Quarter-final 1: winner Pool C v Runner-up D

New Zealand will play Ireland in the Pool C decider in Brighton on Sunday, 7 September. The winner will play the runner-up in Pool D, which will be decided by the match between France and South Africa in Northampton. 

This first quarter-final will be played in Exeter at 13:00 on Saturday, 13 September.

Quarter-final 2: Canada v Australia

In the second quarter-final match, to be played at 16:00 on Saturday, 13 September, Canada will take on Australia at Bristol's Ashton Gate.

Canada finished top in Pool B by beating Scotland and Australia finished runners-up in Pool A after their 47-7 loss to England. 

Quarter-final 3: winner Pool D v Runner-up C

Quarter-final 3 will be played at 13:00 on Sunday, 14 September in Exeter between the winner of France and South Africa and the loser between New Zealand and Ireland.

Quarter-final 4: England v Scotland

By beating Australia 47-7 in front of a sell-out crowd in Brighton, England finished top of Pool A and take on Pool B runners-up Scotland. 

The historic rivals will face off at Bristol's Ashton Gate at 16:00 on Sunday, 14 September.
