
A powerful tighthead Khutha Mchunu grew up in Greytown started playing rugby at seven.
Mchunu attended Greytown High before moving to Glenwood High where he was selected in the Sharks u18 2015 Craven Week squad.
The following year he represented the Sharks in the U19 Provincial Champs, as well as UKZN in the Varsity Shield.
Mchunu was included in the Springbok u20s training squad ahead of the u20 World Rugby Championship.
In January 2018 he was named in the Sharks 2018 Super Rugby squad, where he will look to make his debut.
In 2020, he left the Sharks to link up the Cheetahs.
