Kendrick Lynn was born in Tokoroa, New Zealand
Began his provincial career with Southland Stags (commonly “Southland”) from 2006 to 2011, then moved to Bay of Plenty Steamers for 2012-13.
Played for the Highlanders (based in Dunedin, New Zealand) from 2009 to 2012: 36 appearances, 20 points. He represented the New Zealand Sevens side in 2007-08, making 12 competitions in the Sevens World Series.
In November 2013, Lynn signed with French club Lyon OU Rugby (LOU) in Pro D2. After ending his playing career at Lyon, he moved into coaching. In 2016 he joined Lyon’s staff as backs and skills coach.
In 2023, he returned to New Zealand to join the Highlanders coaching staff.
In June 2024, he was appointed as an assistant coach of the Argentina national rugby union team (“Los Pumas”).
