A man-of-the-match performance from the 25-year-old out half. He was solid in defence boasting a 75% tackle success rate. His kicking game was impressive too, nerves of steel in a big occasion, only missing 1 out of 5 kicks, putting up 11 crucial points on the board.

Will Jordan

The full back was great under the high balls, those that came to him and the ones he was chasing. He also beat 4 defenders and made 14 metres. Defensively Jordan was lacking missing 2 tackles and only completing one. He also won 3 turnovers but also conceded 3.

Codie Taylor

The 34-year-old hooker had an outstanding performance. He carried the ball 8 times and scored a brilliant try in the 25th minute which was the Crusaders only try. His lineouts were spot on and defensively he was solid too. He completed 12 tackles and missed none.

Fletcher Newell

Newell’s scrums were great all game, he won a crucial penalty in the 72nd minute of the game which extended the Crusaders lead. The prop made some strong carries and defensively sharp too, completing 12 tackles and missing none.

Ethan Blackadder

The loose forward was hungry for the ball carrying it up 17 times, which was more than anyone in the game. Blackadder was a defensive wall too, boasting a 100% tackle success rate, completing 16 tackles. He also won 1 turnover. The 30-year-old had a brilliant performance and was all over the field.
